With five years of hard-earned experience at some of Canada’s top advertising agencies, I’m perfectly at home with agency production. I enjoy the challenge of a wide array of tasks arriving at random, and have extensive knowledge of all forms of banners, emails and landing pages. I'm DoubleClick certified and have spent serious time working with dynamic banner campaigns - I've even helped Google refine their platform.
Outside of building entire campaigns every week, I'm no stranger to the other agency requests that show up - from being the technical voice in the room at RFPs and pitches, to editing videos and generating social media posts.
I'm happiest in an environment where I get to contribute to the "idea", where I can use my experience to bring special sauce, add extra value to the creative and help take it in engaging and unique directions.

I managed the development team and oversaw production output. I instigated additional training and code review sessions and assisted with development in times of excess workload. I drove an internal review of creative production within agency, creating stronger integration between strategy, creative and developer teams in early stages of briefs. I documented and refined the studio development process and was responsible for technical administration of the department.

I was responsible for technical consultation from concept, research and client presentation through to technical specs and execution. I acted as technical liaison and point of contact for all levels of agency staff. I supervised timing, adherence to brand standards and code standards of digital production output. I maintained a working knowledge of all client technical environments and internal systems, along with a code and animation library.

As a senior agency front end developer, my skills have expanded to meet the needs of some of Canada's best advertising agencies. Outside of the usual production skillsets, I also design, develop and host responsive websites - and I've spent years working with WordPress installations. I'm a veteran at asset preparation and specialize in dealing with last-minute production emergencies of all kinds.

I had the pleasure of working with Guy during his time at Ogilvy. He always brought many talents to the table. What I enjoyed most was that he has a passion for what he does from the to the big idea to the smallest of details. I always look to work with people who take their expertise into a project and make it better than I could have. Guy does this. He would consistently bring new thoughts forward on animations or transitions that would make the final output better.
